WELCOME TO MY PAGE!

I have been a special education teacher for 22 years and this is my fourth year at IPHS. I got my Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech in Anthropology (which is basically the study of what makes us human), so I LOVE meeting new students every year and getting to know them.  Building good relationships with my students is my number one priority!  I was born and raised just down the road in Henrietta, Texas.  My husband Roy is a nurse at the Community Healthcare Center in Wichita Falls and we have 4 children .  Dylan, our oldest, graduated in 2019 and will be attending Vernon College this fall. Our daughter Jade will be a freshman this year. Our son Trystan will be in 5th grade and our youngest Sienna is starting 3rd grade.   In my spare time I like to listen to music, garden, spend time outdoors and just hang out with my family.  I also really enjoy spending time near the ocean so we try to get to the beach whenever we can!
