Welcome to my homepage!
My current teaching assignment is Robotics, and Principles of Engineering. I have a BS in Chemistry with a minor in mathematics. I graduated from MSU originally and then received my teaching certificate from Wayland Baptist. I started the robotics program at Iowa Park in order to engage more students. What started out as a small venture has turned into a competitive robotics program with students involved at every level. I recently completed my Master's degree in Career and Technology Education. I hope that you find this page helpful. I am providing links to helpful sites for tutorials as well UIL Computer Science and Robotics.
A little bit about myself
I have two wonderful grown kids that both graduated from Iowa Park. My daughter Jayla is 32 and has a family in Krum. My son is an engineer at Howmet. My son was actually on my first robotics team and TAME team as well as all of my UIL teams (voluntold as he put it). He did get a scholarship through TAME so sometimes moms do know best. I love to learn as much as I love to teach, so I have a wide range of interests. I love doing leather work, music, and spending time with my family. My goal is to try to connect with my students, and provide a positive learning environment.
