Teacher: Michelle Turner Aide: Kati BolfAll students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade come to PE for 45 minutes every day. We exercise, run and play.
We plan a curriculum that is based on teaching children life-long lessons, as well as giving the children the physical activity they need. The activities/games are designed to keep children moving while practicing skills they will need later in life. We concentrate on teaching good sportsmanship, cooperation, and the importance of working together as a team, as well as physical skills. We integrate health and nutrition into the curriculum whenever possible to help students lead a healthy lifestyle and make smart choices at school and at home.
