Name: Sabra Dell Wright
MUSIC: Grades 3-5 and 5th Grade Honor Choir
Conference Times: Monday -- Friday @ 2:00 p.m.
Thank you for dropping in. I have been teaching since 1975 and have been at Bradford for nineteen years. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to teach your children about music.
I have two wonderful sons: Richard , a 2008 Graduate of IPHS, and Sterling, who graduated in 2011. When I am not teaching music, I love to spend time with my family, relax with a good book, and run "Riding Right Training". I love to teach, so I spend most of my spare time teaching people how to ride horses, training 4-H Students how to condition and show their horses, and training and showing my own Paint Horses.
My goal is to "use music to teach each child to hear as well as to listen, and to listen and to understand. I will use music to help others to feel as well as to touch, to laugh more, cry more, share more, see more, not just to exist but to live...more." I hope to "use music to teach that making a living is not nearly as rewarding as making a life. I will use beautiful music to make all ever more beautiful; and I will teach all with whom I come in contact, to let their very life be music."
I earned my Bachelor's in Music Education with an All-Level Certification from Tarleton State University in 1975 and my Master's in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in 1992.
