Education 

• I graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1994.  Hawk Pride runs deep in my family!  I am a third generation Iowa Park alumni.
• In 2000, I graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Physical Education.
• I continued my educational career by earning my Master of Education Degree in Educational Administration from Wayland Baptist University in 2010.
• I am certified in Elementary Self-Contained (1st-8th grade), Elementary Physical Education (1st-8th grade), Early Childhood Education (PK-KG), and ESL.  I also hold a certificate in Administration for Principal (EC-12).  

Professional

I started my teaching career at I.C. Evans Elementary School in Burkburnett in 2000.  I had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade during my 5 years there.  I moved home to Iowa Park in 2006 and began teaching Kindergarten at Kidwell Elementary.  After 5 years in Kindergarten, I took a PE position at Bradford Elementary, where I stayed for 5 more years.  Next, my heart led me to City View Elementary where I served as Assistant Principal for 2 years before returning to Iowa Park CISD.  In 2017, I joined Bradford's 5th Grade Team where I taught Reading.  In 2022, I was named Principal of Kidwell Elementary.  I absolutely love being principal at Kidwell because there is nothing in the world better than getting to see such young students learn and grow the way they do at Kidwell!
