Iowa Park CISD Police Department

IPCISDPD

The Iowa Park CISD Police Department is a dedicated law enforcement agency committed to ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors throughout the district’s campuses. Located at 328 E Hwy St, Iowa Park, Texas, the department operates under the jurisdiction of the Iowa Park CISD.

Established in 2006 by Chief Randy Alsup, the department was created to provide specialized security tailored to the unique needs of a school environment. In response to the national focus on school safety following the 2018 Parkland, Florida tragedy, Iowa Park CISD took proactive measures by deploying armed law enforcement officers on every campus, significantly enhancing its security presence.

The IPCISD Police Department is comprised of highly trained and motivated officers who are dedicated to maintaining a safe and supportive learning atmosphere. Their responsibilities include enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, and working collaboratively with local law enforcement agencies to address safety concerns across the district.

Through its commitment and vigilance, the Iowa Park CISD Police Department plays a vital role in creating a secure environment where education can thrive.

I’m proud to serve as the Chief of Police for Iowa Park CISD. I was born and raised right here in Iowa Park and graduated from Iowa Park High School in 2012. Before joining the school district in 2022, I served our community as a Police Officer with the Iowa Park Police Department.

I have a deep love for this town, our schools, and especially our students. My mission is to ensure that Iowa Park CISD is the safest school district it can be—a place where every student feels secure, supported, and excited to come to school each day. GO HAWKS!

I was born and raised in Iowa Park, attending Iowa Park schools from kindergarten through graduation in 2011. In 2013, I began my career in law enforcement as a dispatcher with the Iowa Park Police Department. After completing the Police Academy, I served as a patrol officer for The City of Iowa Park.

In 2018, I made the decision to transition into school-based policing and joined the Iowa Park CISD Police Department. Working in the schools has been a truly rewarding experience. The relationships I’ve been able to build with students, staff, and the community have made this role incredibly meaningful. I’m proud to serve and protect the same district that shaped who I am today.

I'm originally from Iowa Park and graduated in 2014. In 2015, I began my law enforcement career with the Wichita County Sheriff's Office, working in the Jail Division. I remained there until 2020, when I became a Police Officer with the Iowa Park Police Department. In 2024, I took the next step in my journey by joining the Iowa Park School District Police Department, where I continue to serve and protect my community. The relationships I have made with the students and staff are rewarding and awesome!

I'm a proud Dallas Cowboys fan and love spending quality time with family and friends. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, hitting the golf course, and making the most of life outside the uniform.

I’m proud to be a lifelong resident of Iowa Park. From an early age, I’ve been involved in our community—whether it was participating in the Boy Scouts or working hard to earn my Eagle Scout rank in 2007. I graduated from Iowa Park High School in 2008 and went on to work as a machinist for nearly a decade. But in 2017, I felt a calling to give back to the town that shaped me so I enrolled in Vernon College’s Police Academy. After graduating in 2018 with my Peace Officer’s license, I joined the Iowa Park Police Department and served our community proudly until the fall of 2024. That fall, I stepped into a new role as the Resource Officer at Bradford Elementary School. Working with the kids has been an incredibly rewarding experience—and let’s just say I’ve also had a little fun keeping the teachers on their toes with a few well-timed pranks!

I love this town and the people in it, and I’m grateful every day for the chance to make a difference right here at home.
