• Oklahoma State University McKnight Scholars Program

    • Approximately 35 students will be selected to receive a scholarship that waives the out-of-state portion of tuition for four years, plus $5,000 during each of their first two years! Applicants must meet the following criteria: 1) Out-of-State, Rural, First-Year Student, 2) Acceptance to Oklahoma State University, 3) Proven Leadership Ability, 4) Committment to Service. Additional criteria that is considered but not required includes a score of 27 ACT or 1220 SAT and 3.75 GPA.   • Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund

    The Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund awarded over $1.6 million in scholarships last year. APIASF offers scholarship opportunities to Asian American and Pacific Islander students with financial need to increase their access to higher education and resources that cultivate their academic, personal, and professional success. The APIASF general scholarship program offers a range of scholarships from one-time $2500 awards to multi-year $20,000 awards.   • John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest

    The John F Kennedy Library Founcation invites U.S. high school students to write an essay on an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1956. First place - $10,000 scholarship, 2nd place - $3,000 scholarship, 5 finalists receive $1000 scholarship each and 8 semi-finalists receive $100 each.   • Burger King BK Scholars Program

  • Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship

    The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 30th class in 2018, the Foundation has provided over 6,000 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $66 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.   • Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship Competition

    Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student scholarships are based on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.  Application can be found at enf.elks.org/mvs.  Applicants must be a citizen of the United States. College students are not eligible to apply. Male and female students compete separately. Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks. 

    From April 11-14, 2019 the 20 top finalists will participate in an all expenses paid Leadership Weekend in Chicago during which they’ll interview with the national judges. These 20 finalists will be vying for two first-place awards of $50,000; two second-place awards of $40,000; and two third-place awards of $30,000. The remaining 14 finalists will receive awards of $20,000. The 480 runners-up will receive fifth-place scholarships of $4,000.Deadline for application is November 15, 2018

  • VFW Voice of Democracy Scholarship Program

    Typed 3 to 5 minute speech recorded on cassette, CD, or flash drive on the topic "Why My Vote Matters"  Entry form, script, recording, and photo (head and shoulder). Open to all high school students grades 9-12. Prizes can be awarded at the post, district, state and national level. Post scholarship amount - $200. National Grand Prize - $30,000.   • NASSP Prudential Spirit of the Community Awards

    The Prudential Spirit of the Community Awards were created in 1995 to recognize students in middle school and high school who have demonstrated exemplary community service. Local Honorees receive Certificates of Achievement from their schools or organizations. Those who qualify will also receive the President's Volunteer Service Award. State Honorees will receive $1000, engraved silver medallions, and an all-expense paid trip with a parent or guardian to Washington DC in May for several days of recognition events including awards ceremonies, sightseeing tours, and Congressional visits on Capitol Hill. National Honorees will receive additional awards of $5000, engraved gold medallions, and crystal trophies for their schools or organizations. They will also receive $5000 grants from the Prudential Foundation for nonprofit charitable organizations of their choice.     Imagine America has compiled a list of all the participating career colleges that offer our High School Scholarship Program, which is worth up to $1,000 toward tuition at these schools. This new feature makes it simple for students to browse their options for career training and quickly request information from those schools.
