• Horatio Alger National Career and Technical Scholarship Program

    The Horatio Alger Association will award 1020 scholarships in 2018 with a maximum award of $2500 depending on the cost of the program and the need of the student. To be eligible for the Horation Alger Career and Technical Scholarship Program, applicant's must fulfill the following criteria: (1) have completed high school by the summer of 2018, (2) be enrolled in a 2 year or less career or technical degree/certificate program for Fall 2018 that will lead to employment, (3) attend a not-for-profit post-secondary institution, (4) demonstrate financial need; applicants must be Pell Grant eligible, (5) be under the age of 30, (6) be a US citizen.   • Iowa Park Optimist Club Scholarship

    The Iowa Park Optimist Club will award two (2) $250 scholarships to graduating senior students from Iowa Park High School who are enrolling in one of the Career and Technical Education Programs at Vernon College for the summer or fall semester following graduation. The following are not requirements but preference will be given to students: (1) whose parents are current or former Iowa Park Optimist Club members, (2) who participated in Iowa Park Optimist Club sports as a child, and/or (3) will be furthering their Career or Technical Education Program started while attending high school.   • Iowa Park Top of Texas Kid Football Scholarship

    Two $500 scholarships will be given by Iowa Park Kid Football to students graduating from Iowa Park High School who were involved in Top of Texas Football. To be eligible, the student should have been involved with Top of Texas at least 3 years and have participated in high school athletics (sports/cheer/mascot).  They should have at least a 3.0 GPA or better upon graduation. All eligible candidates should turn in a completed application to the school counselor by Friday April 27, 2018

  • Iowa Park Rotary Club Scholarship

    The Rotary Club of Iowa Park will award $1000 scholarships to two (2) eligible graduating seniors from Iowa Park High School. To be eligible, the applicant must be enrolling as a full-time student in a four-year college, a two-year college, or a vocational school in the fall semester following graduation.   • IP Athletic Booster Club Robert Wilcox Honorary Scholarship

     The Iowa Park Athletic Booster Club is offering two scholarships in the form of a one-time award of $500 for one (1) male who participates in IPHS Varsity Athletics and a one-time award of $500 for one (1) female who participates in IPHS Varsity Athletics. ELIGIBILITY: (1) Graduating senior of a Iowa Park High School, (2) Current or future enrollment at any college, university, or technical school,(3) Minimum academic GPA of 2.75, and (4) Minimum of 1 year participation in Varsity Athletics at IPHS.   • Heath Hodges Memorial Scholarship

    Two $1000 scholarships honoring the memory of Heath Hodges, IPHS class of 2001, will be awarded to one boy and one girl who are active in the IPHS FFA Chapter and/or the IPHS Ag program. The scholarship is a one-time award for students who plan to attend at four-year university, a two year college, or a vocational program. Application is attached or may be obtained from the counselor or any Ag teacher. The application deadline is Wednesday April 25th.

  • Leroy Watts Memorial Scholarship - MSU

    Two $1000 scholarships in memory of Leroy Watts, 1961 graduate of Iowa Park High School, will be awarded to a graduating senior boy and girl who plan to attend Midwestern State University. The scholarships are good for one year only and will be divided equally between the Fall and Spring semesters ($500 per semester). Recipients must be enrolled at MSU as full time students and maintain satisfactory grades. Application is attached. Deadline is Friday April 27, 2017.

  • American National Bank Scholarship - Midwestern State University

    American National Bank Scholarship recipients must be planning to major in a field somewhat related to the banking industry such as Accounting, Business Computer Information Systems, Economics, Finance, General Business, Management, Marketing, Mass Communications, and Mathematics. Applicants must have an ACT score of at least 23 or an SAT score of at least 1000 (excluding writing). Recipients will be selected based on the applicant's extra-curricular activities, community service, and financial need. Award is $2000 per year for four years provided the student maintains consecutive enrollment for fall and spring terms and a minimum GPA of at least 3.0. This scholarship is not transferable.   • MSU - Northwest Texas Field and Stream Association Scholarship

    The Northwest Texas Field and Stream Associations is offering a one-year $1000 scholarship to beginning freshmen or currently enrolled student at Midwestern State University who is majoring in or planning to major in Environmental Science or Biology. Applicant must be a full time student in good academic standing majoring in Environmental Science or Biology at Midwestern State Univerisity or must be a graduating senior in a high school in one of the following counties: Wichita, Archer, Clay or Wilbarger.
