I grew up in Bryan, Texas (right next to College Station or Aggie Country) then started college at Hardin-Simmons University. I later transferred and graduated from Midwestern State University. I have a degree in Music Education and my certifications are All-Level Music Education and 8-12 Mathematics . This will be my 6th year to teach at Iowa Park High School but have been teaching for 12 years. Before moving to Iowa Park, I taught in Childress, Texas at the middle school and high school. I have taught many subjects over the last few years like Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Math Models, Advanced Quantitative Reasoning (AQR), & Choir. 

I am so EXCITED to be teaching choir and Geometry at Iowa Park High School. We are going to do great things and can't wait to get to know my students.

I am married and we have two lovely children. One will be a freshman at Burkburnett High School and the other will be a 3rd Grader at Overton Ray Elementary. We also have 2 dogs.

For fun, I love to crochet, cross stitch, play tennis, and sing at church.
